Psychotherapy & Our Unique Landscapes
We are born into existing landscapes from which our identities emerge. Psychotherapy can help us to see and embrace ourselves and allow us to explore how we may carve out new territory within the landscape of our lives. When we connect within a nurturing and safe therapeutic relationship the exploration of our inter-dependence with others can lead to new insights and behaviour, which can be a restorative and reparative experience. We are unique, I value the uniqueness we each bring into the world and I believe our uniqueness and individuality can transform our wider culture. I respect each person’s own life experience and views of the world, including religious or spiritual beliefs, sexuality, gender and ethnicity.
